Competition Information

Competition:
During Summer, Cheerio will field teams in the CND Competition. Matches are played at ETSA Park, Mile End.
Seniors/Intermediates - Tuesday
All other Juniors - Friday
Season commences week beginning October 4.

Playing Ages:
Cheerio provides Netball coaching and competition for girls aged from 8 upwards. Age groups are 9 and Under, 11 and Under, 13 and Under, 15 and Under, 17 and Under and Seniors. All ages are as at 31st December 2010.
   11 & under will be years 2000 or younger - Primaries
   13 & under will be years 98 and 99 - Sub-Junior Grade
   15 & under will be years 96 and 97 - Junior Grade
   17 & under will be years 94 and 95 - Intermediate Grade
   Players born in 1993 will be seniors for next winter

Uniform:
The playing uniform is a green, gold and blue body suit and club socks. Club Warm Up tops and Jackets are optional.
Uniform fitting is available on Tuesday nights until August 24. The special night for uniform purchases and fee payments will be September 7: Juniors from 6.00pm to 7.00pm, Seniors from 7.00pm to 8.00pm.

Training:
There is no training during the summer season unless an individual coach organises it.

Coaches:
The Club is always looking for people prepared to coach. If you are willing to assist the Club may pay for you to undertake a coaching course (whether as an introduction or to upgrade).

Umpires:
Umpires are always required, and it’s a great way to meet new people and earn some extra cash. If you would like to umpire, the Club will help you obtain the required credentials.

Outstanding Fees:
Applications from players with previously outstanding fees will not be accepted until these have been cleared or an arrangement has been reached with the treasurer.
Any player who has not paid their summer fees by round 4 will not be permitted to play until these have been cleared or an arrangement has been reached with the treasurer.

The Match Committee will structure teams as soon as practicable following the close off date.
Players will be notified via email of their placement within a team.
Your acceptance of placement will be regarded as a commitment to play for the club.
